We were surprised and honored to receive an invitation from the Bethesda Urban Partnership to have a month long exhibit at its showcase “Gallery B” on Wisconsin Avenue. We had a very successful exhibit last January and they’ve asked us to repeat again in January 2018.
So watch this space for more info. We’ll be giving you sneak peaks of our new works for the exhibit and some plans we have to increase your enjoyment of art in the cold, post-holiday months!
We had a wonderful opening reception, with champagne, sweets, savories and all the fixins’ — but most of all a hearty crowd of merrymakers at Gallery B, January 8, 2017, to support our new month-long show. Here are some views of the fun and productive evening.

Downpours and tornadoes couldn’t wash out our opening reception for ‘Brushes with Nature’, the summer-long exhibit by the Seven Palettes at the lovely Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg, MD. Our 50 pieces of art were beautifully hung by the staff of the Gaithersburg Cultural Arts Advisory Committee and at least 50 people braved the storms to attend the reception. Here are a few scenes from the festivities.
The City of Gaithersburg annually invites artists to compete for the opportunity to exhibit in its various art venues. The 7 Palettes are delighted to have been selected to display 50 of our new works at the premier Kentlands Mansion. The exhibit will run almost three full months — from June 17th through September 5. Please bring friends and families to see our art and join us for wine and cheese at our reception, which will be held on Tuesday evening, June 21 from 7:00 to 8:30.

This coming January, the Seven Palettes and friend Tricia Tucker will exhibit a variety of mixed media art in the Visitors Center at Brookside Gardens, Wheaton, Maryland. In keeping with the focus of the lovely park and gardens hosting us, the works will reflect our individual encounters with plants and with nature in its broadest sense.
